We worked together in the integrated lesson to write a technical file of one of the dishes which will be prepared for the dinner party on 24th November.

Adverbs of frequency

We worked with a text and talked about the difference between adjectives and adverbs.

Pastry

We started working with different kinds of pastry:

We started this last Module talking about the Olympic Games. Here you have the presentation we watched and discussed in the I.T. - English integrated lesson.

Coming back to our potato chips, and to round up the topic and the module, we are going to work on the following exercises where we will use the Passive Voice to describe a process.

                  

In the English - IT lesson, we worked with this video which shows what the Internet is. The IT teacher worked on the definition of Internet and what we need to connect to the web. In English we worked with some vocabulary which appears in the video.

We also worked with some language we can use at a hotel:

We worked with a video which shows the potato chips manufacturing process. 

We discovered that the Passive Voice (sentences in red) is more appropriate to describe a process.

                                    

Revising the Past Simple, we worked with this text:

We wrote together the recipe of a traditional Spanish dish: Tripe Stew (Buseca de Mondongo). Delicious!

We learnt about the Spanish influence in our cooking traditions. We needed a bit of history, that´s why we read about Columbus and his discovery of the Americas.

We started the year working with the different parts of the menu: Starters, Main Course Dishes, and Desserts.
